Walther TPH
In 1886 Carl WALTHER (1860-1915) opened a weapons workshop in ZELLAMELCGHIS. The considerable popularity of the new weapons inspired WALTHER and his son Fritz to create in 1909 their own automatic pistol, calibre 6.35mm. These small calibre pistols proved to be extremely popular and the factory was expanded and new models developed. In 1929, WALTHER created the first double-action gun, the Polizei Pistol (PP). In 1931 a shorter model was produced the Polizei Pistol Kriminal (PPK). These two pistols were enormously successful, and a legend was born. Today the PPK and P99 enjoy increasing popularity having appeared in the world famous Bond films (after all wouldn’t we all like to be 007?).
